 Teacher of Special Education (hearing impaired and learning disabilities) for more than 20 years

• Specialized training in multi-sensory, structured, research-based reading methods including Lindamood-Bell®, ABeCeDarian, Language!, Phono-Graphix, SRA Corrective Reading, and Orton-Gillingham
• Provider of Fast ForWord computer programs
• Training in the Handwriting Without Tears program
• Parent of a child with auditory processing disorder and language-based learning disabilities 

 Memberships 

• Member of the International Dyslexia Association, including attendance at state and national conferences
• Member of the Learning Disabilities Association of America
• Member of the Board of Directors of the National Coalition on Auditory Processing Disorders

 I am located in Lincolnton, NC, which is within a half-hour of Hickory, Gastonia, Huntersville, and Denver, NC and about 35-40 minutes from the Charlotte airport area.
